Taylor County Courthouse

The historic Taylor County Courthouse in Abilene was originally completed in 1915 with beautiful casement windows.  In the 1970s the original windows were replaced with non-historic aluminum windows that significantly detracted from the beauty of the building.  In 2023-2024 with the help of the Texas Historical Commission the county restored the original courthouse back to its original beauty.

Re-View was selected to custom manufacture windows units with historic profiles, replicas of the original 1915 casement windows, but with LoE insulated glass units to gain energy performance for the central Texas summers.  Finished in a historic green, the new windows really make the courthouse pop!
