The Balboa Park Botanical Building in San Diego was completed in 1915 to prior to the “1915 Exposition” and was intended to showcase the fantastic climate of the area. Anchored with twin 23’ 6” openings that include 6’ 5” wood transoms at each end, the build is striking and grand. Over decades, the building was slowly altered away from its historic beginnings, but 2023 construction project kicked off to take it back in time.
Re-View was selected by Spectra and the architect to custom manufacture door and window units from Fir with the original historic profiles, true replicas, down to each individual detail. The windows were finished in a Sherwood Green that really brings out the beauty of the building and the park.
