The top floor of the Old Post Office Building in Oklahoma City houses a courtroom with a great deal of history that includes the trial of George R. “Machine Gun” Kelly. The aesthetics of the courtroom are enhanced by the 10 beautiful springline clerestory windows measuring 7’ in width and 7’ in height with center operable sashes and beautiful interior cast iron grates.
Re-View was selected to restore the clerestory windows back to their original beauty and provide exterior aluminum storm windows to protect the openings well into the future. Review removed all the decorative grates and transported them back to Re-View’s shop for restoration. The steel windows were abated to bare metal by an approved abatement company and then Re-View restored, putty glazed, and field finished each opening.
